Accurate Pressure Testing

Here’s how the test actually goes. We pull the cleanout cap closest to the house, drop in an inflatable test ball at the city main side, fill the line with water until it stands at slab level, then watch the level for 15 minutes. Drops more than the allowable inches, you’ve got a leak somewhere in the system. We write up a one-page report with the pressure reading, the time, and a clean pass/fail you can hand to the title company.
